Childhood is the most important period of life, and good psychological development is the foundation of a person's lifelong mental health. As the front-line primary school teachers, we should master the law and knowledge of children's psychological development and promote the healthy growth of children. Therefore, at noon on November 19th, all the leaders and teachers of the Primary Section listened to the psychology lecture with the title of ‘Key Pillars of Child Development’, which was meticulously prepared by teacher Tao Xiaoting of the Primary Section.
Specifically, Tao Xiaoting described the characteristics of children’s development and countermeasures from four aspects as follows: the children's own personality development, thinking development, effective learning and social acceptability. The profound professional knowdedge and detailed method introduction made teachers feel that all the behavioral characteristics of children reflected some of their inner needs. Moreover, if parents and teachers can deeply understand the psychological needs of children, it will be more conducive to stimulating children’s inner potential and escorting their healthy, happy and sustainable development.
To conclude, through this activity, it’s believed that our teachers will further arm themselves with theory, and constantly use scientific methods and children’s perspective to solve the problems in the growth of students in the practice of school education and family education so that every child can grow up healthily and vigorously.
